I decided to work from my front porch this morning. The weather is beautiful, the breeze is blowing, and there are SO many different kinds of birds visiting my yard today.
So far, I’ve seen the American Goldfinch, Cardinals, an Eastern Bluebird, an Eastern Towhee, Bluejay, Robins, Starlings, some version of sparrow (or maybe wren), and I’ve heard woodpeckers in the area across the street.
Birdwatching is something new I’ve found to be so fun. It probably sounds crazy to some, but seeing the variety of birds in my little area of North Carolina is just an amazing testament to God’s creativity. He creates in so many beautiful mediums, I can’t help but just stop and wonder at the beauty of it all.
I’ve also taken up gardening, but that’s a story for another day.
